FROM HOME

Moving to New Zealand can be challenging. That is where we step in! We want to give our people the best start possible with life in New Zealand.

Our services are designed to help our Pacific peoples make a successful transition to their new homes and build successful, prosperous lives.

OUR SERVICES

A group of people attending a conference or workshop in a meeting room, seated around round tables with white tablecloths, listening to a presenter at the front. There is a large screen displaying a presentation.

We run free workshops and seminars such as health, public transport, housing, budget and employment.

Workshop Seminars

Two women in a conference room speaking; one is standing in a chef's uniform, the other is seated with a laptop open in front of her. A third woman is seated in the background. There are banners and a television screen on the wall.

We support you in areas such as applying for IRD, schooling, work, opening bank accounts and GP services.

Goal Setting

Working with families and/or individuals to co-design and implement a settlement plan.

Why it matters.

Real families, real stories, real outcomes. PSSS have significantly improved settlement support for people settling in Aotearoa New Zealand from Pacific nations.

“PSSS Made Our Transition to NZ So Much Easier”

“We first learned about Pacific Settlement Support Services (PSSS) at a seminar in Samoa, and when we arrived in New Zealand, Mandy from PSSS invited us to another session. It was incredibly helpful, as we knew very little about life in NZ. The seminars covered essential topics like budgeting, finding a home, and understanding local laws. Mandy also gave us valuable advice on managing money and settling in.”
